Kristin Renkei, BVMS

Dr. Kristin Reinke grew up in San Diego, California, and knew from a young age that she wanted to work with animals. She began volunteering at the SPCA as a child and eventually made her way to UC Davis, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences. She went on to earn her veterinary degree from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. She loved her time abroad and continues to have a passion for traveling and exploring new places.

After returning to the United States, Dr. Reinke completed a small animal internship at Animal Specialty Group in Los Angeles before transitioning into general practice. She later became Medical Director at Mohawk Small Animal Hospital, where she enjoyed building lasting relationships with her patients and getting to know their families over the years.

In 2023, Dr. Reinke and her husband made the move to Northern California, bringing along their two dogs and cat. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her two children, exploring local hiking trails, trying new restaurants, traveling, and meeting new people.
