September's Pet of The Month

Help us celebrate our September Pet of the Month — Cleo!

Hi, I’m Cleo! I’m an almost-one-year-old Virgo, just like my mom! I don’t really meow yet — I have more of a little squeak — but when I’m hungry, I howl like a tiny dog.

I’m a pâté and sardine connoisseur, although now that I’ve discovered I can reach the countertops, I’ve expanded my palate to include unattended human food. My parents are not nearly as excited about this development as I am.

I speak a little French because Mom speaks French to me, and some of my favorite things include sleeping on her hip all night, getting my head and nose rubbed, climbing the front-door screen to watch the hummingbirds, and obsessing over my older sister… who, unfortunately, does not return my enthusiasm.

Dad and I play with my mouse toy every day, and I jump so high that I basically turn into a tiny airborne shrimp. After I eat, it’s time for the zoomies, and I sprint through the house at speeds that are probably concerning.

But my story didn’t start out quite so luxurious. Dad found me sick and tiny on a farm, and now I get to live the spoiled life I always deserved. With lots of love — and the help of my wonderful veterinary team — I grew into the healthy, happy, mischievous girl I am today.

These days, life is mostly about causing a little mischief, getting away with it, and being completely and utterly adored.
